WHO WE ARE
Lux Brasil is a project managed by ABILUX (Brazilian Association of the Lighting Industry) and supported technically and financially by ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), which is renewed every two years.
General Objective:
• To introduce Brazilian lighting industry luminaires and components into the international market in a more competitive manner.
Specific Objectives:
• Generate sustainable growth for companies and exports.
• Increase the number of exporting companies and export destinations.
• Stimulate and promote "internal" and "external" training for supported companies.
• Stimulate the development of innovative products with bold designs.
• Increase the number of internationally certified product families.
Initiatives developed by Lux Brasil:
Training: Assistance and guidance for companies in developing, adapting, and qualifying products, as well as business management focused on the international market.
International Certification:Technical and financial support in obtaining certifications for the North American and Canadian markets.
Business Intelligence: Research, reports, and studies with qualified information on target markets and potential importing customers and partners in these countries.
Market Access and Trade Promotion:Technical and financial support for companies to participate in business promotion initiatives in Brazil and abroad, such as trade fairs, business rounds, roadshows, trade missions, and others.

Based on a study conducted by ApexBrasil's Commercial and Competitive Intelligence Unit in collaboration with the industry, potential markets were identified for Lux Brasil's commercial promotion efforts.
Priority: United States, Peru, and Costa Rica
Secondary: Canada, Paraguay, Colombia, Chile, Uruguay, Ecuador, and Germany.
Lux Brasil Committee:
The committee is made up of a representative of ApexBrasil, the project manager and representatives of participating companies.
The main responsibilities of the committee are:
• Reorienting actions, in the direction that best meets the needs of entrepreneurs and the market.
• Evaluate project results vs. performance indicators.
• Strategically thinking about the future of the sector in terms of increasing the competitiveness of Brazilian products and services in the international market.
• Attending the exclusive meetings of the Committee that occur in alternating months.
